Bastet, known as "The Perfumed One" in the Egyptian pantheon. Playful seductress as well as fierce protector of pregnant women, children, and cats. Although a sun goddess, Bastet is associated with the moon, and with Hathor, which is symbolized by the "horns" of the crescent moon.
