ART FOR THE ANIMAL WITHIN

For those of you new to my artwork and/or my website, welcome! I am Christy Grandjean, the artist also known online as "Goldenwolf", a moniker I chose when I first got on the internet back in 1999.

The kind of art I am primarily known for is anthropomorphic art (a term meaning the attribution of human traits, emotions, or intentions to non-human entities), also known as "Anthro Art" for short.

​

I have always had a fascination with human cultures, different types of earth-based religions and spiritualities, fantasy, and a huge love for animals and nature. I adore wolves and other large predators, but consider myself an animal nerd, and love all animals.

​

I especially love the mythology of werewolves and other shape-shifters. People that can turn into animals is such a compelling concept to me.

All of this, plus my love of fantasy, has turned into the type of art I create.
